• Christmas concert photography

Over the last 3 weeks I had the chance to join and photograph my church‘s choir as we prepared and performed our annual Christmas concert. Here are some of my favorite moments.

    • Ed, thank you so much for sharing your talents this last weekend. The pictures are great. You capured both focused preparations, as well as the events themselves. I appreciated getting in a few pictures, which is rare when I’m always the guy with the camera. I think the selection for the few black and white shots were exceptionally well selected, gives more focus on the “story”. And you have indeed told a story.

I’m sure I’ll use a few pictures in our own Christmas letter, which is now rising to the top of the “things to do before Christmas” list.

Thank you for taking the time to shot, and I know the time to edit for your publications.

What white balance did you use?

Thanks, John. I set my camera to 3000K White balance, and tweaked some of the shots as needed in Lightroom.

    • How fun to see the rehearsals and then the final concert! Good work!
