• A gothic Barcelona wedding

While visiting Santa Maria del Mar, expecting to take in some of the gothic architecuture, I ended up taking a handful of shots of a gothic Barcelona wedding. Though I had none of my usual wedding lenses — only the Sigma 8-16 — I still managed to capture a couple of nice moments.

Once the joyous occasion wrapped up and things settled inside the church, I had plenty of time to photograph the wonderful, yet austere and simple gothic architecture.

    • Wonderful pictures, Eduardo. The church is beautiful, but even more so with a bride and groom in it. I’m surprised they still let them throw rice. It’s nice that you caught that recently banned tradition, at least in most churches around here.

    • Yeah, my wife and I picked up on the rice throwing. But hey, it’s Europe, where people still smoke like chimneys and cars don’t have any pollution control (judging by the smell of the exhaust).
